Preface

Over the years I have come to realize that Christians don’t really understand their Hebraic roots, the Jewish people don’t really understand the Christian faith and neither group understands the Bible or religion from God’s perspective.

With the numerous religions we have in our world today, it makes it difficult to live by the precepts God gives for a blessed life, and also makes it very confusing as to which one God says we are to live by.

This book focuses on the Bible and the messages taught in it from God’s perspective only so both groups can have a better understanding of the Bible, the Israelite people and what God and Christ really teach.

The purpose of this book is to shed some light on the entire nation of Israel, who they are, where they are, their migration wanderings since leaving their Assyrian captivity, what their purpose in life is and what we can learn from them and their mistakes. The book also covers the Judean religion, how and when it got started, and the reason for the persecutions the Jewish people have been suffering from for centuries.

As we come nearer to the end of the age we should all be joined in a common purpose to invest in ours and our children’s future, and to make smarter choices for our lives. Our race, religion, or political opinion shouldn’t separate us and our goals to improve our lives and economy. The smarter choices we need to make are hinged on our education. Our education in the scriptures is the absolute key issue that gives all the necessary information we need as individuals and as a nation to be successful in all we do. Only after we get a proper education can we make the changes for a better world.

As we explore the Bible from God’s perspective the answers we need will show themselves to be practical and common sense in nature and will show the errors we have made over the centuries.

A 2001 report on the number of religions in the world identifies 10,000 distinct religions, with 150 of them having 1 million or more followers. Within Christianity alone there are 33,830 denominations. This book will help to inform the reader how to discern which of them is the most accurate religion to have that brings the most blessings from God.

This book will prove its weight in gold not only from a biblical stance but also from an historical stance as well to help biblical and historical educators everywhere. Since all of the population is descendant from Noah and Abraham then that means that we are all related in some form or another through our ancestors. There are no land, race or religious boundaries to our heritage to each other and the Twelve Tribes of Israel that many of us are descendant from. This book will also prove its worth from a genealogical standpoint to help readers trace their heritage back further than they ever thought possible. So, this book is basically a biography of the entire nation of Israel.

With that said, we will start off with a few interesting statistics of religions and the Bible itself, along with the main themes in Israel’s and the world’s history that has caused so much confusion, problems, diseases, pain, suffering and persecutions to the descendants of Israel in the past and today.

The Israel people are mentioned in the Bible 2570 times. They are mentioned in 34 of the 39 books of the Old Testament and in 13 of the 27 books of the New Testament. Their mention starts in Genesis and goes all the way through to the book of Revelations. That means the whole Bible is all about the nation of Israel – God’s chosen people.  Whether we are willing to admit it or not, the Bible nevertheless, is an Israelite book. It was written basically by Israelites, about Israelites and for Israelites.

The Bible indicates that no nation but Israel has ever really known or understood the will of The Almighty God. Ps 147:19-20 He shows his word to Jacob, his statutes and ordinances to Israel

The descendants of Israel today that live in harmony with the creator and his righteous commandments are able to understand the Bible and the bigger picture that God has planned for his people for the end times. The information contained in this book are the revelations that God has been giving me for these end times to help people return to him and correct the misconceptions that are rampant in our world today.

This book will isolate Bible truth from theological errors. With the over 10,000 different religions we have in our world today, its easy to become confused as to which religion to accept and live by. All the different doctrines we have now bring confusion to all the people who desire to live by the correct one according to God but don’t know which the correct one is.

Many theologians and professors have questioned the God of the Bible, rather than humbly accepting the Bible literally on face value. It is not man’s job to question God or Christ. It is our job to humbly accept and obey their authority of what they say we are to do in order to receive salvation. Even though salvation might be a free gift from Christ, it only comes when we obey him in everything.

There have been many theological errors made over the centuries which have caused even the best theologians to not understand the reason for the distress our world is in now. With this book, it is my hope to help others understand the errors that have been made and restore the sound doctrines the Bible teaches that would unravel the mysteries contained in it.

With all of the different religions and opinions we have now, we may have unknowingly adopted certain objectionable practices from our ancestors, practices which God designates as sin in his word and which could separate us from his Holy Spirit and blessings. This book will help to sort out the truth from the misconceptions so our sins no longer separate us from the goodness that God has in store for us.

Our world today is beset by an overwhelming amount of problems, diseases, pain and suffering. Incurable diseases ravage the world’s population with escalating pandemic dimensions. People have been asking “Why?” but have not been getting the answers they need.

The answers we seek are contained in the knowledge and wisdom of the scriptures and are absolutely essential if we are to find salvation. I don’t understand why the people of today reject these messages coming from the very mouth of God, when they are the only messages that have the power to save them from their troubles and diseases.

Every God, Christ and Bible believing person should desire to know what our heavenly Father wishes us to do, and then never allow ourselves to be swayed by the opinions of men.  The Heavenly Father intends that we should live the kingdom way of life so that we as his children may learn to be his disciples as well. The good tidings, blessings and salvation of God are firmly fixed in the original Hebrew / Israelite religion and has been extended to all nations all over the world.

Israel has been released from slavery several times. The first time was from Egypt, then from the surrounding nations that oppressed them, and now need to be released again in our present day from the false doctrines that enslave them. The last time they went into slavery they never returned because they never repented. God is giving them another chance to return to him in these last days through the knowledge of the revelations that he has given me to expose the errors of the false doctrines that enslave them.

The first few chapters of the book of Judges is characterized by Israel falling into sin then crying out for deliverance. Every time they sinned God would turn them over to punishment by turning them over into the hands of oppressors. When they could no longer tolerate their situation, they would cry out to God for help. After God helped them they were able to live in peace and safety for a while until they sinned again.

God has heard their cries in these last days. This book is God’s explanation of today’s diseases and troubles and the solutions to restore his truth, to release Israel from the slavery of pagan idols and false religions they have chosen over God’s pure religion, and to restore health and prosperity to the whole earth. This call extends to all people of the world who are being held in bondage to the false concepts of religion which were begun in Old Testament times.

Those who are diligent in their studies will find that the information contained in this book is based on actual scriptures and interpreted with other scriptures so that nothing contradicts the plain truth of the scriptures. This book contains information that is found in the Bible and other available Bible and dictionary references that can be easily obtained by those who desire to expand on their own studies.

May your studies bless you as much as they have me to bring you closer to God, Christ and their wonderful blessings.

NOTE:

I ask that every one who reads this book - no matter what religious faith you are - to please read it with an open mind and a humble heart in order to see the perspective God sees. Seeing religion from God’s perspective would help to explain all the major religious and life issues we are dealing with in our world today. Those issues include minor squabbles between similar faiths to the major wars Israel is facing from their surrounding neighbors. This book explains the “Why” of all our religious and social issues we face in the world today, and what God wants us to do in order to restore peace and harmony to our ravished world.

Greatness Established and Split of the Nation

Once the nation of Israel was set up in the new land and given the commands, statutes and judgments then God taught them how to put them to use to achieve the utmost victories in all they endeavored to do. As they entered the land of Canaan that God gave them for their inheritance, God helped them to over power the inhabitants of the land to take the land for their own possession. Under Joshua’s leadership, the Israelites realized that victory comes through faith in God and obedience to his word, rather than through military might or numerical superiority. They enjoyed many victories and peace throughout the land when they lived by God’s righteousness.

After Joshua passed away the Israelites started living by their own means and following after the other nations around them. During the days of Judges, it seemed that this tight organization deteriorated rapidly and every man did as was right in their own eyes, Jud 21:25. It was during this time the Israelites started being influenced by the polytheistic inhabitants of the land. Whenever they made and bowed down to the idols and the images of the other peoples, they received consequences from God for their sins. One of the main consequences was being given over into the hand of their enemies. This humiliating era saw a fragmented Israel suffering from enslavement as stronger native tribes imposed sever taxation on them.

When God realized that he could not force the Israelites to obey him, he then started to use the other nations as a way to prove his people to see if they would obey him or not. God had a few different purposes for all the other nations that came from Abraham and lived in the land of Canaan with the Israelites.

One was to use them as a means to test the Israelites to see if they would follow God instead of the peoples around them. (Jud 2:21-23).

Two; to make war with Israel when they went astray of God’s covenant. The book of Judges shows how God delivered the children of Israel into the hands of the Midians, (nation descended from Keturah’s son, Mid’-i-an) in Jud 6:1-3, along with the other “children of the East.” Judges 10:6-7 is another example of God “selling them into the hands of the Philistines and the children of Ammon” for forsaking Him to serve the Baalim. The Philistines and other nations were created by God as agents in the shaping of the Israel nation and kings.

Third; was to provide enough people to ensure population growth for the various tribes. The tribe of the Midians is the tribe that Moses’ father-in-law was descended from. Not all families had only sons like Ishmael did.  So they needed to go find daughters for their sons to marry. Moses’ father-in-law had seven daughters and no sons, so the daughters had to seek men from other tribes to marry. Unfortunately the children of Israel also married other non-Israelite peoples that led them away from God’s covenant and God.

Samuel was the last person to be established as a judge over the nation of Israel. He was given by his mother to serve in the temple all the days of his life. Sam 3:19-21 says that God was with him and that Samuel was established to be a prophet. As Samuel became old and could no longer judge the nation of Israel, he established his two sons to take over for him to be judges over Israel. Since Samuel’s two sons did not walk in a righteous manner after him the people asked Samuel to set up a king over them instead.

After the people asked Samuel for a king, God explained to Samuel that it was not him that the people were rejecting, but it was God himself that was being rejected by his people. He also explained to them what kind of things a king would do to them. This still didn’t deter the people from wanting a king over them. (1 Sam 8:7-22)

This was the start of Israel’s many troubles when they desired to be like the other nations around them. Their first mistake was wanting a man as a king other than God. This led them to have men who were not righteous according to God as leaders to lead them. If the leaders weren’t righteous, then the people they were leading wouldn’t be righteous either. All it takes is one person to start a tradition outside of what God says to do to ruin an entire nation with their tradition. This is exactly what happened to the house of Israel after the 12 tribes split into two separate nations.

In Samuel chapter 10 God himself chooses Saul as the first king to reign over Israel. The 12 tribes of Israel then accepted Saul as their human king, but was later removed because of sin, and God himself appointed David, a man after his own heart, to be the king over all Israel. The secret of David’s greatness was that he always was able to acknowledge his errors and correct himself when it was pointed out to him. When he sinned against God and his people he immediately acknowledged the sin and repented, rather than attempting to justify himself.

During King David’s and Solomon’s reign, after Israel returned to keeping the laws, prosperity was the result. Of that time it is recorded, And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his own vine and under his fig tree, all the days of Solomon. (1 Kings 4:25) A perfect social order existed where righteousness was. Unfortunately this perfect social order didn’t last after Solomon’s death.

After Solomon’s death, the 12 tribes of Israel started warring against each other. (1 Kings 12:1-24) After Rehoboam was established as king, he increased the taxes upon the people. The ten northern tribes didn’t agree with the dictates of the heavy taxation that Rehoboam instituted. The ten northern tribes then rebelled and broke away from the house of Judah / David to start their own nation. At this turn of events we find that the split of the 12 tribes is done by God’s will. Verse 24 says, Thus says the Lord, ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel, return every man to his house, for this thing is of me.

Due to Israel’s continued rebellious nature to follow after the other nations around them, God had finally gotten to the point that the only way to save a portion of Israel was to separate them. He could see that the majority of the people were rebellious and Stiffnecked enough to not understand his ways and would not hearken unto him. But he could see that the house of Judah would keep his commandments and statutes more than the rest of the tribes would. He also made a promise in 1 Kings 11:36 as, And unto his son I will give one tribe, that David my servant may have a light always before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen me to put my name there. It is for this reason only that God refuses to completely destroy all the nations of Israel. He needs to have a lineage available for the Messiah to come through, and a nation to take care of his tabernacle and the oracles of God until the new kingdom can be started.

At this point is when the separate tribes took on specific names to identify who God is speaking to throughout the rest of the Bible. The term “House of Israel” is always applied to the ten northern tribes, and the “House of Judah” is always applied to the two southern tribes that constitute the lineage of David. The two southern tribes were the tribes of Judah and the tribe of Benjamin that formed into the “house of Judah.” This is the house / nation that stayed in Jerusalem, while the other nation “the house of Israel” went into captivity and never returned. It was only a small portion of the “house of Judah” that returned to Jerusalem after the 70 years they spent in captivity in Babylon for the sins they committed.

Other names used to pinpoint who God is talking to or about are;

For the whole nation, before the split: Hebrews, Children of Israel, or Children of Jacob. And after the split they were called whole house of Israel.

For the northern 10 tribes: House of Israel, house of Jacob, or house of Joseph / Ephraim.

For the two southern tribes: House of Judah, just “Judah” or Jews. The name “Jew” is a shortened version of the name “Judah.” This is why the name “Jew” is only applied to the two southern tribes of the house of Judah and not to any of the other tribes. The same way “Ben” is a shortened version of “Benjamin.” This is also why the name “Jew” can not be applied to the other nation, “the House of Israel.” They are two separate entities with two separate identities. God did this for a reason so that we would know who he and the prophets are talking about in the rest of the Bible.

The house of Judah’s name got shortened to “Jews” after they returned to Jerusalem from their 70 year exile in Babylon. Most of the time in the Old Testament they are referred to as The House of Judah, but in the New Testament they are always referred to as Jews, Pharisees and scribes.

My tribes of Israel Timeline gives a better understanding of the sequence of events that took place from when Abram was born to the house of Judah’s and Israel’s exile into captivity.

Israel Timeline and Graph

Many people have been misled into thinking that only the Jewish people comprise the whole nation of Israel.

This time line graph and Bible scriptures will show that it was the posterity of all Jacob’s (Israel’s) sons that comprise the whole nation of Israel at the Exodus and today, and not just the Jews alone. The following scriptures will prove it was all 12 sons of Jacob (Israel) who went into Egypt and the posterity of all Jacob’s sons who came out of Egypt. The time line also shows when the house of Judah became a nation and proof all 12 tribes, including the lost tribes of Israel are still alive today.

Abram born                                                                  Gen 11:26

Abram – Abraham name change                                  Gen 17:15

Isaac born                                                                    Gen 17:19

Children of Israel/Jacob divided into tribes according to the house of their fathers (Jacobs’s sons) (second year after exodus)                                            Num 1:1-50

Tribe of Levi to be in charge of tabernacle                     Num 1:49

Promised land given to each tribe                                  Josh 13: all

Israel split into two nations                     1 Kings 12:16-24 & 2 Chr 11:1-4

This is when the Jews became a nation, 500+ years later, not when they left Egypt. Solomon’s son Rehoboam was king at the time of the split. The tribes of Benjamin and Judah are called “House of Judah” who later became known as “Jews.”

The ten northern tribes are called “House of Israel”

The 12 tribes of Israel still in existence and alive today.  Matt 10:6, 15:24, Rev 7:3-9

The graph shows the timeline in better detail. My Bible gives the amount of years for each great period of Bible history. The graph is based on the years given in my Bible and by the years given in the scriptures. The B.C. years are only approximate, not exact, but show when the House of Judah really became a nation. These scriptures and facts should also prove without a doubt that the Jews are not the only ones who comprise the nation of Israel today. There are 10 other lost tribes still in existence scattered among the gentile people of today who have as much inheritance as the Jews. If the House of Israel was still alive 2000 years ago when Christ was here, and Christ says he was sent to them, then that means they are still alive now.  Rev 7:3-9 says they will be counted and included in the inheritance.

According to Revelations there are 120,000 of you among the gentiles also known as “Christians” or maybe “Messianics.” Which means there are only 24,000 of the House of Judah (Jews) to be counted worthy of the inheritance. The rest are of the other 10 tribes that are also to be alive at that time. If they are alive in the future, then they are alive now. Christ says in Matt 15:24 that he was sent only for the “House of Israel.” Are you hearing him now?

It is time for the 10 northern lost tribes to stand up and be counted as the “House of Israel.”

                        ####

I have found it is most beneficial to life success to whole heartedly accept that we as humans don’t have all the answers to life, but The Almighty does. And unfortunately with each passing generation, we tend to make more splits and more denominations not only in Christianity but Judaism as well. It is for this reason that we need a book such as All About Israel: The Bible and Religion From God’s Perspective to reign in all the splits and denominations to get back to what God originally intended for HIS people.

Christians and Jews can no longer afford to be offended at God’s corrective instructions. Too many Christians and Jews today are being severely persecuted around the world because of the splits and different doctrines being taught that people are just expected to accept as their religion. Man in his short-sightedness has made many mistakes over the centuries that are causing much of our “Life” troubles and persecutions. So it is time to learn about those mistakes and correct them.

The next chapters in this book the reader will learn about the mistakes that all of Israel has made and continue to make today in chapters 3-4.

In Chapter 5 the reader will learn about the House of Israel’s captivity, the consequences they suffered while in captivity (which mimic today’s problems), then their earth-wide spread, the races they have come to be known as and their massive population growth.

In chapter 6 the reader will learn about the history and start of Judaism that started after King Solomon’s death. They will also learn about The Great Assembly or Sanhedrin. Then in chapter 7 the reader will learn about the history of Christianity and how it got started. Chapter 8 covers the 100+ different religions in the world compared to what God says his religion is. Chapters 9 and 10 covers Christ’s message of repentance and how we can restore righteousness back into our society.

If you as God’s people are ready for a restoration, and revival to restore our world back to righteous living, or a revival in your own personal life, then this book will help you to do that.

Don’t miss out on this fascinating information that can help the reader become more God and Christ like and restore them to a right standing with God.
