God gives us fair warning of what will happen to us if we don’t keep HIS commandments and covenant that he designed for the greatness of our nation.

Deut 31:16-18 And God said unto Moses, behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods (people) of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake (leave) me, and break my covenant (my laws) which I have made with them. Deut chapter 27-29 lists the curses brought upon us for not keeping God’s commandments. And the financial curses on us in Mal 3:8-10.

Rom 6:16 Know ye not, to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey?

In others words, whom you obey is who your god is. The Almighty is the only one who we should obey. All other men will lead us astray.
